Our approved curriculum is built for the virtual classroom, allowing students to access lessons, complete assignments, review feedback, and communicate with their teachers online.

  • Interactive online lessons
  • Live virtual instruction
  • Recorded learning resources
  • Small-group support
  • One-on-one academic help
  • Assessments and progress checks

Online access provides flexibility, but students are still expected to participate consistently, complete assigned work, and communicate with their support team.

The K–8 Academic Experience

Structured learning for younger students.

The K–8 School provides a structured learning experience designed for younger students.

Students build strong foundations in English Language Arts, mathematics, science, social studies, reading and literacy, and digital citizenship.

Certified teachers provide instruction and feedback, while facilitators and mentors help students remain engaged and on pace.

A parent or guardian serves as the student’s educational partner by helping establish routines, monitor progress, and support daily participation at home.

The Adult Academic Experience

A flexible pathway toward diploma completion.

The Adult School provides a flexible pathway for learners age 17 and older who are working toward high school diploma completion.

  • Credit recovery
  • Academic skill development
  • Career-readiness preparation
  • Postsecondary planning

Mastery-Based Learning

Students progress by demonstrating an understanding of essential academic concepts.

Teachers use assignments, assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring to identify strengths and areas where additional support may be needed.

Mastery-based learning allows students to receive help before moving forward, but it does not remove deadlines, attendance expectations, or participation requirements.

Teachers, Facilitators and Mentors

Online learning does not mean learning alone.

Certified teachers provide instruction, answer questions, offer feedback, and help students work through challenging concepts.

facilitators and mentors support organization, communication, goal-setting, and accountability.

Together, teachers, facilitators and mentors help students remain connected and continue moving toward their academic goals.

Attendance and Participation

Attendance may be measured through completed coursework, submitted assignments, live-session participation, teacher communication, and other required academic activities.

K–8 students follow a structured daily learning plan.

Adult learners have greater flexibility in when they complete coursework but must still log in regularly, meet progress expectations, and respond to school communication.

State Testing

Students are prepared for applicable state-required assessments.

Although regular coursework is completed online, some assessments may require students to attend an approved in-person testing location.

Families and adult learners will receive testing dates, locations, and instructions in advance.

Learning Beyond Coursework

Students may have opportunities to participate in online activities, interactive events, academic workshops, and other activities that help build connection and school community.
